Eyebrows can be defined or filled in with pencils or eyebrow shadow before applying eye make-up. Dry skins need oilier pencils, naturally moist skins need lighter, powder-based pencils.

1. First powder lightly with a translucent powder and brush into shape.
2. If you are using a pencil make sure it is very sharp and start from the inner corner of the eye using light strokes in the direction of growth to resemble hair growth (never draw a continuous straight line).
3. Blend in colour with fingertips.

Eyebrow powder should be applied in the same way using a slant-edge brush. Use a clean, dry mascara brush to brush through brows again.
